RAC Business brings BLOODHOUND SSC to Company Car In Action

Visitors to RAC Business stand have chance to win exclusive signed print of supersonic car

Visitors to this year’s Company Car In Action will have the chance see a replica of the supersonic car making its bid to be the world’s fastest thing on four wheels.

RAC Business has teamed up with the most exciting engineering project the UK has seen in decades – BLOODHOUND SSC, and will be bringing an exact replica model to CCIA on June 16 and 17 at Millbrook Proving Ground.

The scale model will be on view in Concept 1 where visitors can have their photograph taken with it and there is also the opportunity to win an exclusive framed print signed by project director Richard Noble and pilot Andy Green. On the RAC Business stand visitors can have a go at driving the BLOODHOUND SSC simulator with the fastest lap at the end of each day winning a print.

The team behind the BLOODHOUND SSC is confident it has the engineering and design expertise and inspiration to build a supersonic car which will exceed 1000mph and break the land speed record at Hakskeen Pan, South Africa, in August 2016.

David Wallace, director of RAC Business Services, said: “We are backing BLOODHOUND SSC as it represents a truly British challenge which champions UK engineering excellence and presents a unique opportunity to excite and engage the next generation of engineers.

“In the same way the team behind Bloodhound SSC is committed to their ambition, so is RAC Business committed to delivering the best performance for your fleet through insight, innovation and collective expertise that comes from being at the heart of the automotive sector for nearly 120 years.

“At RAC Business we believe in bringing clarity and insight to your business and fleet needs, with a range of products and services that present one single, complete picture of how your fleet is operating.

“We’re looking forward to attending Company Car In Action to talk to visitors about how we bring together a raft of services including RAC Breakdown, Accident Management, RAC Telematics, contact centres, commercial insurance and fuel cards, and deliver them through one single trusted supplier.”

RAC Business will be at Company Car In Action on June 16 and 17 at stand 9 in Concept 2 and is also sponsoring the Concierge Club in Concept 1.
